School Council
During the first week of term, elections were held for Abbotsbury School Council (2017 – 2018).
Each class voted for two representatives.
Prospective candidates presented a speech to their class and voting was done by secret ballots.
All candidates should be commended for their excellent speeches which were filled with exciting ideas for our school.
Congratulations to the newly elected school council representatives (2017 – 2018).
We know you will work hard to represent your classmates and make sure their voices are heard.
The School councils get involved in a whole range of important activities in school. That’s because the School Council involves everyone in the school. For more information on the activities the School Council take part in please see the School Council News below.
London Young Ambassadors
The Young Ambassadors programme is about building the next generation of volunteers.
It gives young people at Abbotsbury a chance to help out in their local community and address issues they are passionate about. Projects have included everything from water poverty, food poverty and waste, to gardening, friendship and connecting generations. We want all Abbotsbury children to feel empowered to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential as active local, national and global citizens. Our Young Ambassadors are leading this work at Abbotsbury.
